1. About Orbit

Orbit is a mood journal made by trolls.dev. It lets you record your observations about yourself or one other person and view patterns in those entries. These terms describe use of the app; the Orbit Privacy Policy explains how it handles data.

2. App license

For a copy obtained through Apple's App Store, the license supplied with that copy governs your use. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a custom license is provided with the app. This page does not replace that license or limit rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

3. Your entries

You decide what to record and remain responsible for the information you enter, import, or share. We do not claim ownership of your journal entries or notes. Respect other people's privacy when recording observations about them or sharing an export. Orbit does not obtain information from another person's device or verify their mood on your behalf.

4. Understanding the charts

Orbit is designed for personal reflection. Its charts summarize the entries you provide, which may be incomplete or subjective. Meal timing may be estimated, and place and weather information may be missing or inaccurate. A pattern in the chart does not establish a cause, predict someone's behavior, or provide a medical diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

5. Local data and backups

Orbit does not keep a developer-operated server copy of your journal. Keep your own backups if you want to retain it when changing devices or removing local data. JSON and CSV exports contain entries from both profiles, but do not include saved places, anchors, meal schedules, or display names. Deleting data in Orbit does not delete copies you exported, shared, or backed up elsewhere.

6. Optional Apple services

Weather and address lookups depend on Apple Weather and Apple Maps. They may be unavailable because of connectivity, location permission, service coverage, or other conditions outside Orbit's control. Mood logging can continue without them. Apple's services, content, and trademarks remain subject to Apple's terms and attribution requirements; see the weather data attribution.
